I was pleasantly surprised to see it too I would have thought you would have had a more military position since you were Chief Marshal, but I guess there is a method to her madness :wink:

Yes ...and I have also just found out from reading the law that anything that happens in Evesham......criminal.... I cannot report it to the pp....so will have to message some of you to report it if I see wrongdoings...which really hinders me because I cannot perform my duties as Minister of Law...like I should... because I cannot call myself as a witness in any cases that would be bias . I really need to check on this because that would probably mean that I cannot use the grant for fraud purposes it would seem to me . But I will check to be sure. I dont want to do anything that will bring down the wrath of the COA Smile

Oh crap lol Yes, please check into ALL of it to make sure of ANY loopholes, cuz I don't want to have to lose you as Minister of Law...you've done a FABULOUS job....

Well I have heard back from the High Courts and the reply is not favorable. They debated the issue wheather or not I could remain Minister of Law. I cannot.......sorry so I will not be able to preform my duties here in Evesham. I will return the grant LadyGina. Maybe next election I will not be appointed judge then I can resume my duties here. Again I am sorry everyone but I didnt ask to be judge . Let me know what you think

Well, this saddens me as you did a tremendous job ! But, I have sent Rathen a message asking him if he can take over your duties as Minister of Law until the term is over. If you don't mind, if he takes the job, I'd appreciate you helping him with the execution of the grant & goods & stuff....we currently have at least 1 slavery issue in town right now...Dranoel, could you let me know if there is anything else that needs to be addressed in case Rathen takes over ?
I will let you keep your keys to this building because you will STILL be on my TA team Just right now, you will be an advisor until the term is over

Well thank you kindly LadyGina....and I would be more than glad to put Rathen on the right path if he accepts. It does sadden me though being that I was born here in Evesham and having never stepped foot past our town, it has made me realize how much everyone here means to me. My sword and honor belong to King and Country but my heart belongs to the people of Evesham and not being able to serve them is quite overwelming but I do get the satisfaction of being able to serve them through the court system still. Very Happy

You will be a fine Judge But, next term, if you do not want to be in that position, you can ask the next Count/ess to not place you in that position....I'm sure they will understand But make sure if they make you PP, you can still be MoL for Evesham lol or it will be the same situation as now

Hello all.

I'm not sure if Lady Gina told you all but, I've been rather ill as of late. I had chicken pox, which really knocked me for 6, and lead onto other illnesses, I'm guessing, as a result of a weakened immune system. All in all not much fun.

Luckily, it seems things had been progressing, and I've been getting my appetite back which has enabled me to put back on the weight I lost. This is why I've been absent for so long, that and really hectic work schedules. Well, now I'm going to be attempting to fit in my duties as Spokesman, providing my position is still open that is.

If it is, could someone give me a brief catch up and all that's happened (I noticed taxes had to come in in the end), all that's new, and where are discussions are currently, it'd be most appreciated.

Welcome back Garrett ! I am glad you are doing better.
Unfortunately, the TA forum has been a bit quiet as of late. I think RL schedules have played a big factor in everyone's online schedule......
I am going to try to get the ball rolling again since I have a 3 day weekend starting tomorrow.
I will fill you in on as much as we have had going on then
Take your time getting back into the swing of things. I don't want you to overdo yourself.
And yes, your position is still open
I'll probably open up a new thread here in the meeting office & send the link out to everyone so we can start being active again

How ironic. I come back as everyone has their own RL issues. Not complaining or making fun or anything, just find it rather ironic.

I'll be sure to not over do it. For a while there, I was wondering if I was ever going to get back on track.

Ok, a quick catch up..... we did have to inflict taxes, & for the time being, I will be doing so every 2 weeks.
The County taxed the various towns to help get the County back on the right tract & we got taxed 1500.00 pounds & that really hurt us....but slowly we are getting back up there.
Let's see....Paullo resigned from TA...he became Priest of Evesham, though. Gnome was appointed Mayor's Assistant in his absence.
I ran for, & lost Duchess of Worcester
My new job is keeping me from being as active in this forum as I'd like but hopefully it will change soon.......
Discussions have pretty much been silenced due to everyone's RL issues....
I do keep the Total Town's Net Worth posted here in the forum but that is a PRIVATE matter only for our eyes...
What else would you like to know ?
